SFL FOTM June 2018 At The Beach Blog Hop

Image may contain: text
Ahhhhh! My most favorite place in the entire world to be! Salt air in my hair, sand in my toes and the sound of crashing waves, what more can a girl ask for to be totally relaxed? Well, the next best thing to me is to grab some summer-themed products and make beach themed cards! And do we ever have that on the agenda for today! So grab yourselves an island cocktail (not coffee this time) and lay back in your lounge chair and browse through the wonderful creations the design team and guest designers have to offer you today. Our fabulous “At the Beach” card kit is available now, but don’t fall asleep in that chair or you just might miss out!

Now that you have seen what is in this months wonderful kit... here are my projects:
Ok, so maybe I have seen the Jaw's movies too many times. Including the original at the theater when it first opened. To this day I do not like swimming in the ocean. I used collection 1 and sketch 1 for this project.
My favorite sea creatures, Jellyfish and turtles. And I do love the Yellow Submarine. Collection 2 Sketch 3.
A nice umbrella drink under a palm tree is just about right here. It's Happy Hour... Collection 4 and Sketch 2. The drink is from the Banana Split Stamp set.
I was just looking at photos of my grandbabies at the beach playing in the sand, so this is the project that came to me. And the raindrop background paper, well in Florida it does rain almost every day for at least 5 minutes. Collection 3 and Sketch 4.

You should have come to me from Tina's Blog.  Up next is Tanya's Blog.

Christmas is Coming with Creative Vision Stamps

Greetings friends and fellow crafters. It is now officially less than 6 months to Christmas 2018 and I am bringing you two more Christmas cards. The two projects I have brought you today used the same Foilables Holiday Tags Pack Toner Sheets - FVT047

Recollections background paper, a Darice brand embossing folder and Pretty Penny Heat Transfer Foil.
Recollections cardstock, Shamrock Envy Heat Transfer Foil

For this project I used the Swingline Inspire Plus Laminator. I let the machine heat up for about 30-45 minutes before putting my foil pack through it, I then turn the image 90* and run it through again. I let it cool and use my bone folder to burnish the foil before pulling the foil off the image.

I hope you have enjoyed this project today. Please be sure to take a look over at Creative Vision Stamps and see all the other amazing Foilable products available, as well as the stamps in Clear and Red Rubber.

Love Life with Decoupage Pages and White Rose Crafts

Greetings friends and fellow crafters. LeeAnn here with a late night version of my Thursday WRC post. Sorry it is so late, however... better late than never.
Back in April, seems so long ago doesn't it, I completed my first decoupage project. I said then, and I still say now, I LOVE THEM. For this project I used the Camping decoupage page to get this cute set. I used a combination of Lucky Clover and Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxides for the ground and Broken China for the sky. The Love Life sentiment came from a Lawn Fawn stamp set. I used Scrapberry Ink to stamp that sentiment with my Tim Holtz Stamp Platform.
Such an easy project, please stop by White Rose Crafts and get your decoupage sheets today and try them out. They are only $1 and that is awesome.

I hope you have enjoyed these projects today. Please see the great products available at the White Rose Crafts online store.

I'm A Jellyfish... Flavor of the Month June 2018 Sneak Peek

Greetings friends and fellow crafters, LeeAnn here with my Sneak Peek of the Scrapping For Less June 2018 Flavor of the Month Card Kit. Let me tell you I am in love, and had such a hard time deciding what to do for my Sneak Peek as I love this kit so much. It came down to an inside joke between a couple friends (Karen are you reading this???)  and myself that has been going on over 12 years to finally make my mind up.
So on with my card… I used a panel of the Neenah Solar White card stock from this months kit, and stamped out the JellyFish image from Collection 2 in the kit. I stamped the image 4 times using Versamark Ink, and used Clear embossing powder and heat set. I then used Broken China and Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide inks from my stash to create my background. I love doing it this way as my Jellyfish stayed white as the embossing powder resisted the ink. I used my distress sprayer to spritz water on my panel to add to the underwater effect. I used Pale Periwinkle and Sea Breeze Nuvo Jewel Drops to create the air bubbles for my little jellyfish. I finished my card off by using the “Just Keep Swimming” sentiment and a die from my stash to create a banner. I used the ink cube from the Banana Split level of the kit to stamp my sentiment.
The full reveal of the kit will be this Saturday, June 30th at 12:00 am EST.
We hope to see you then and hop along with us.
Thanks for visiting,

Oh Deer, Christmas is Coming with Creative Vision Stamps

Greetings friends and fellow crafters, LeeAnn here with another post using Creative Vision Stamps.
Here I am with another Christmas Card. Getting that inspiration out there early. This is a 4.25" x 5.5" card. All paper is recollections 65 lb except the tag itself which is from the Holiday Tags Toner Sheets. I used Queens Crown Foil with this project for the dear, and felt he really needed that red nose which is a brad from my stash. I also used a gold brad my my stash to attach the tag to my card.

For this project I used the Swingline Inspire Plus Laminator. I let the machine heat up for about 30-45 minutes before putting my foil pack through it, I then turn the image 90* and run it through again. I let it cool and use my bone folder to burnish the foil before pulling the foil off the image.

Greetings friends and fellow crafters, LeeAnn here, and as we continue along the week of fun with LemonCrafts paper, I am bringing you another project using the Fresh Summer 6"x6" paper pack.

The Flip Flops are stamped on Fresh Summer paper using Poppy Red Nuvo Ink. The little flower is stamped in the same paper within the lacy section with the Poppy Red ink as well.
The sentiment is stamped also with the Poppy Red and cut with a tag die from my stash.

Rumors.

Greetings friends and fellow crafters, LeeAnn here with a new post using products from Creative Vision Stamps.

For this project I used the "Rumors" rubber stamp from Creative Vision Stamps. The background is from Foilables Paper Pack 1.  I used Shamrock Envy for the Foil on this project.

For this project I used the Swingline Inspire Plus Laminator. I let the machine heat up for about 30-45 minutes before putting my foil pack through it, I then turn the image 90* and run it through again. Let It Snow? Foiling with Creative Vision Stamps

Greetings friends and fellow crafters, LeeAnn here with Creative Vision Stamps.
Most people do Christmas in July, well I decided to do Christmas in June and July, so every other post this month and next will be using the Christmas Tags Foilables sets.

For this project I used the "Let it Snow" from the Christmas Tag Foilables. I used Razzle Dazzle Foil. The background paper is from the Penny Black 6"x6" Festive & Frosty paper pad. I thought the purple in the baubles in the background went well with the Razzle Dazzle Foil.

For this project I used the Swingline Inspire Plus Laminator. I let the machine heat up for about 30-45 minutes before putting my foil pack through it, I then turn the image 90* and run it through again. I let it cool and use my bone folder to burnish the foil before pulling the foil off the image.

Fresh Summer, LemonCraft and White Rose Crafts

Greetings friends and fellow crafters, LeeAnn here today with a post using this amazing paper from LemonCraft. I am so NOT a pink person, but this paper and ephemera pack has reeled me in. Today I am sharing 3 cards using the Fresh Summer paper and Ephemera Packs available from White Rose Crafts.

All my cards are 4.25" x 5.5" top folding 110 lb white cardbases. I really enjoy this paper, and will be making more projects with it in the not so distant future.
The great thing about this paper and ephemera pack is that it lends itself to really easy CAS cards, as well as some more complex projects that can be made.
Using these packs I was able to put together 3 cards without using stamps, ink or markers. Only items needed were paper trimmer, and adhesive, I did also use a couple of dies from my stash, however these could be made without that also.
I hope you have enjoyed these projects today. Please see the great products available at the White Rose Crafts online store.

Home Is Where Your Heart Is and Scrapping For Less

Greetings friends and fellow crafters. LeeAnn here with my inspirational post using Lala Land Crafts.

I had a good time with this No Place Like Home set from LaLa Land and some dies from my stash. I stamped the images using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, once dry I cut the images and used dies from my stash to cut the road and the clouds. I used Broken Chine Distress Oxide for the sky background.

As a bonus, I grabbed the May Flavor of the Month Kit (Countryside) and made another card for you.

I used paper from Doodlebug Down On The Farm, The images are from Avery Elle stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and colored with Chameleon Markers and Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers.

Hope you liked my projects today.
