I added "Birthday Bash" Sparkle Blends to the inside of my shaker and a few around the outside. My watery background was made using Broken China and Salty Ocean, the rocks were made using Hickory Smoke. I stamped the sentiment using Versafine Onyx Black.

Layers of Dimension with White Rose Crafts

Hi there friends and fellow crafters. LeeAnn here with this weeks project for White Rose Crafts.
What a fiasco let me tell you, I did filming while making this card and well, as you can see from this post there is not a video attached.
 View from the top
View of the card
I used one of the Anita's Decoupage sheets "Birthday Surprise" and Adhesive Mounting Pads to make this card. I have said it before, and I will keep saying, I love these sheets. They make it really easy to make a quick card. The card above is 4" x 3" and simply adorable.
This project was 6 layers, and so quick and easy to put together, I just was sick when I realized that I did not have an SD card in my phone so it did not record, and I could not take it apart and make it again. To make this card you would just pop out each layer in order, and layer them using the foam mounting pads to add the dimension. You could really do this in about 5 minutes including putting it on a base.

I hope you have enjoyed this project today. Please see the great products available at the White Rose Crafts online store.

Meow, I Love You... Scrapping For Less Sneak Peek

Hi there friends and fellow crafters. LeeAnn here with a project I made using the August 2018 Flavor of the Month Kit, “All About Pets”. I was so excited when this kit arrived, and could not wait to get started playing.

I immediately stamped out the images and put my Scan n Cut to work cutting them out. I used Chameleon Markers to color my images and then went about putting the base together. The sentiment says “Meow, I Love You” which is one of the sentiments in the exclusive Scrapping For Less set. I stamped it with Versafine Onyx Black and heat embossed with Clear embossing powder.

Be sure to take a look at Stacy’s post from yesterday and come back tomorrow to see who is up next. Please come join the blog hop this Saturday and get your “All About Pets” Flavor of the Month Kitbefore they sell out. There are limited numbers available.

Hippo Birdie To YOU!!! SFL Project

Hi there friends and fellow crafters. LeeAnn here today with a fun project I made using the Lawn Fawn “Hippo Birdie” stamp set and the Lawn Fawn “Ocean Wave Accents” Die. Both of these products are available in the Scrapping For Less Shop.

To make this project I took the Ocean Waves die and used it on my image 3 times in a diagonal from bottom left to top right. I then used my Tim Holtz Travel Platform and stamped the Hippo stamp 3 times with Nuvo Metro Grey ink on Grey Cardstock. I then stamped the Birdie 2 times in Memento Dandelion Yellow on yellow cardstock. I used the matching dies to cut the Hippos and Birdie’s out. I affixed the hippo’s in the cuts using double stick tape on the back. I then layered that panel on a piece of SnoCone Cardstock, cut to size, rounded the corners then did the same with a panel of Night Shift Blue cardstock, again trimmed to size and rounded the corners. My final panel was white that I had a little fun with Broken China Distress Oxide and a blending sponge. The “Hippo Birdie To You” is stamped with Versafine Black Onyx ink.

Items used on this project:

So late July my husband and I took a day and visited Busch Gardens in Tampa, FL. It is less than an hour from home and we haven’t been since January 2010, it was time. One of my favorite parts of the day was watching this Hippo, he was swimming around his pool having a blast with a tree branch pulling it from one end of the pool to the other and back again. This is the inspiration for my project.

Wild About You Pink & Main with Scrapping For Less

Hi there friends and fellow crafters, LeeAnn here with my inspirational post using a special stamp set called Wild & Free, which was a special collaboration between Scrapping For Less along with Pink & Main. I love this set, as it gets some of my favorites together in one place. This set was part of the August 2017 Flavor of the Month Kit.

For this I used Memento ink in Tuxedo Black to stamp my images, I then cut them using my Brother Scan n Cut. I used the Chameleon Markers shown to color my images. The pattern paper is Natural Dots by Bo Bunny. I really love how it goes great with these little critters. I used a die set from my stash to cut the background/tag and banner and then layered it up. I added a few sequins to finish it off as that side looked a little plain.

Hope you liked my project today.

Celebrating Something with Scrapping For Less

Greetings friends and fellow crafters, LeeAnn here with an inspiration post for you. Taking you back in time to the March 2018 Flavor of the Month kit “All About Ice Cream“. I loved this kit, almost as much as I love Mint Ice Cream with Chocolate Sauce. So hear I am with my rendition of my favorite dessert.

My papers came from the kit, Orange Fizz and Black Licorice Card Stock for the base as well as the MFT BIrthday Blowout Polka Dot pattern paper for my background. I used the Neenah cardstock to stamp with using my Tim Holtz Travel Stamp Platform and Darice Chocolate Brown Ink that came in the January Kit.

I stamped the Image first, on Neenah White Cardstock with the Darice Ink. I then colored it with Chameleon Markers. Using Green Apple GR1 for the Ice Cream, Nude NUOO and Light Peach NU2 for the Ice Cream Dish.

I stamped the sentiment with VersaFine Onyx Black Ink and used Clear Embossing Powder which I then heat set. I added a few sequins from the collection to add interest and my project was complete.

The card sketch I used for this project is also the sketch for the the monthly challenge over at the Show & Share Facebook Group. Come play along with us please.

Hope you liked my projects today.

Back to School with White Rose Crafts

Greetings friends and fellow crafters. LeeAnn here with my weekly project for White Rose Crafts. Today I am using a 6x6 paper pack from Doodlebug Designs (Back To School) and a stamp set from Woodware (School Tots). I also used a background stamp from Woodware (Numerals).

For this first card I used a wreath builder template to stamp my design on a 4x4 square of paper. This allowed me to get my stamps in the same place all around the square. I used VersaFine Clair ink in Nocturnal to stamp my images and heat embossed using clear embossing powder to add a bit of shine. I then colored my images using Chameleon markers. The apple in the middle I went over using clear Wink of Stella brush pen for shimmer. This panel was then attached to the star pattern paper and placed on a 4.25" x 5.5" top folding card base. The sentiment was stamped and cut with a die from my stash and attached using foam tape for dimension.
This second card I used Versaclair Morning Mist to stamp the background stamp, and heat embossed using White embossing powder. I then used Distress Oxides to add color to the panel. The little boy is from the School Tots stamp set, colored with Chameleon markers and then attached using foam tape. This little boy and his marbles are ready to go to school. For those that have followed me since the beginning of my blog back in 2015, my little grandson starts PreK this month, so this card was made with happy thoughts of him.

Products used in these projects:
Doodle Bug Back To School
Woodware School Tots
Woodware Background Numerals
VersaFine Clair: Nocturne, Morning Mist
Distress Oxide:
Broken China, Picked Raspberry, Fossilized Amber, Spiced Marmalade, Lucky Clover, Wilted Violet
Ranger Superfine Embossing Powder:
Clear, White
Wink of Stella
