Hello... A ScrappyTails New Release Sneak Peek

Hey there friends and fellow crafters. LeeAnn here and wow did I have fun making this card. Unfortunately I made it while working so no video was made. I did use new products from ScrappyTails Crafts and stay tuned, I'll let you know how.

  • First I cut a cardbase from Accent Opaque 120lb cardstock. My cardbase is 8.75" x 3.75".
  • I then used a panel of Grey Recollections 110lb cardstock and cut it out using the Slimline Brick Die.
  • I cut a panel 8.5" x 3.5" from Chinese Red Cardstock to lay underneath the brick cut to simulate the bricks while the grey was the grout.
  • The vines are from the Assorted Leaves Metal Die Set
  • I then cut the NEW Flying Butterflies Die Set. This die set is 4 pieces, 2 for each butterfly. I used Black Suede Cardstock to cut the top layer, and then added double side adhesive to my back panel which was 120lb cardstock and cut that out.
  • I peeled the backing from the adhesive, which was on the front of the panel, adhered the black panel and then sprinkled glitter over the top, and burnished it in with a paintbrush.
  • when putting this card together I used my GlueDots Tape Runner
  • The last thing I did was adhere the Hello sentiment, which was part of the Slimline Shadowbox Die Set.
I hope you have enjoyed my project today as much as I enjoyed sharing it with you. Be sure to visit Scrappy Tails Instagram and Youtube for more inspiration. This new release will be available March 12.

Happy Birthday, Hope You Have A Ball

Hey there friends and fellow crafters, LeeAnn here with another fun project using a stamp and die set from The Makers Movement. I've been having so much fun with their sets and realized I had not finished putting this card together yet, so last night while in a crafty zoom with friends I was able to get it done.

So, green is one of my two favorite colors and when I saw the Gumball Machine stamp/die set, I knew I had to have it, and it would be great to make to look like my own Gumball Machine that is in my Craftroom.

To make this card I started out by cutting all the die pieces from Accent Opaque 110lb white cardstock. I thien used my Ohuhu Alcohol Markers GY7 and WG4 to color the pieces for the Green and Grey.
From there I also cut from the double side Adhesive Foam and 2 panels of Acetate. I always make a sandwich of acetate/foam/acetate with my shaker bits inside of it, so that I know I get a good seal. With the Makers Movement Acetate there is a blue film on it so that it does not get messed up before use, I left the blue on one side of the back panel to give the illusion of the glass ball.
I used Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue to adhere my pieces together, this is a white glue that dries clear and is quite strong, It does not take much to hold tight and so with that a little bit goes a long way, which wish my crafty budget that helps tremendously.
I found a beautiful darker green cardstock in my stash for for the layering of not only the sentiment but also my card panel layer, and then the dotted paper layer is from an MFT 6x6 paper pad called Party Patterns.
The enamel dots are also from my stash and I believe they are from an Echo Park Collection, I'll see if I can find them and have them linked below.

Mini Slimline Lucky Rainbow with Rinea Foiled Paper

Hi there friends and fellow crafters, LeeAnn here with a fun card made for an upcoming birthday using Rinea Foiled Paper.

I had so much fun with this mini-slimline card. And really was able to have fun using a lot of Rinea foiled paper that is in my arsenal. I will list and link all the products below, in the mean time let me tell you how I made this card.
  • using the mini slimline embossed edge die I cut a panel of Turquoise Starburst for my back panel.
  • I then used a mini slimline stitched die to cut the inside panel
  • I used Silver Starstruck for the Cloud cut with a Stitched Cloud Die
    The big fun then happened
  • I used a panel each of Glossy Ruby, Marigold Starstruck, Glossy Gold, Emerald Starstruck, Glossy Sapphire and Lavender Starstruck and cut them with a Stitched Slimline Rainbow Die.
  • I Separated each strip and adhered them to the inside panel.
  • A cauldron was cut with black cardstock, and the inside was cut with Gold Glossy Foiled paper.
  • The sentiment is from a Fiskars stamp set and stamped with VersaFine Clair Verdant Ink.
  • My layers were all put together using Bearly Art Liquid Glue and after taking some photos this project was complete.

I hope you have enjoyed this project today. I have enjoyed sharing it with you.
