Is it too early... Merry Christmas

preview-5

Greetings friends and fellow crafters. LeeAnn here and while today is Halloween, and Thanksgiving is yet to come, I was so excited to start making this years Christmas cards that I forgot the theme for October's DCD posts are Fall/Halloween (oops).

Some areas of the country are experiencing snow already, so I thought this paper would be fun to  use. It is from the Pebble's Merry Little Christmas 6x6 paper pad, the "Merry Christmas" die can be found on the Frantic Stampers Website, it is made by Penny Black.

I hope as we enter this holiday season, you are met with comfort and joy.

Making Spirits Bright with My Makers Movement

I just can not express how excited I am to be collaborating with My Makers Movement for some upcoming projects, including this one today. This is a great company, they have products for Paper Crafting, Jewelry Making, and have a great die cutting machine called the Crossover II, which I am now saving up for. This machine will cut paper, fabric, emboss, die cut, and the best thing is it is adjustable to handle the job you are doing.

MOD271 - Berry Christmas Die Set Product Image

So, on to my project for today. I used the oh too cute 16 piece stamp set called Beary Christmas and the matching dies. These little bears are just too cute, and so fun to color. I stamped them out using Memento Tuxedo Black ink which is alcohol marker friendly. die cut each of the bears and then used my Arteza markers to color each one.

For my background I used Distress Oxide inks in Wilted Violet, Broken China, Salty Ocean and Faded Jeans. I then spritzed some water on the panel and took it up using a paper towel.

Once I was satisfied that my ink was dry I thought it needed something else and took out my Sugar Glitter Bo Bunny Glitter Paste and Card Sized Star Confetti Stencil from MFT. I taped my stencil down and using a palette knife I spread the glitter paste onto my panel. I LOVE the way it turned out.

I grabbed a hillside die from my stash to create something for the ground level and then played around deciding where to put my bears. After doing this I realized the houses really need to come into this project. These homes are so cute, and I would not feel right leaving them out.

Home is Where You Park It, an SFL post

Greetings friends and fellow crafters. LeeAnn here and let me say this month of projects with Scrapping For Less is really making me miss our camper. Thinking we are going to have to replace it in the next couple years. Camping has always been so fun for us, and the highlight of our weeks when we could escape for a couple days and just sit around and do nothing.

picsart_07-05-08.34.02

SO... using Art Impressions "Happy Camper" Tryfold Stamp and Die set, I put this card together. While thinking about the good old days.

picsart_07-05-03.38.17

First I stamped out my images using MFT Extreme Black Ink. I then Used my Scan n Cut to cut the images out. I then used alcohol markers to color everything up.

picsart_07-05-03.37.02

Once everything was colored, I took a sheet of cardstock 4.25" x 11" and scored on the 3 5/8" from each side to make my card base. Then it was off to my Vagabond machine with the two dies that came in the kit. The first die cut the back window of the camper, and left a hinge section at the top. I cut this same through the base as well, I removed the hinged section from the card base.

Now the camper we had, was completely camo colors on the inside. So I had to color this one the same way. The second die in the set cuts out the tent shape area in this next panel.

Once the card is completely open, you see the sentiment, and the cute little sleeping pup up on the bed. Exactly where my little guy Harley loved to be.

I hope you have enjoyed this project as much as I loved sharing it with you.

Happy Easter with Lawn Fawn and White Rose Crafts

Greetings friends and fellow crafters. LeeAnn here with my Saturday post with White Rose Crafts.
Let me tell you how much I love Lawn Fawn and their little fun characters and stamps. I am so happy to be able to play with them this week and bring my project to you.

No automatic alt text available.
In making this project which is an A2 size 4.25" x 5.5", I started out by stamping the images from the Lawn Fawn Easter Party stamp set with Memento Tuxedo Black and cut with the Scan n Cut. I them moved over to my Big Shot and a tag die set from my stash to cut the makings of the tag on the right side of my card. I knew I wanted a shaker as part of my project and figured that would be the easiest way to do it.
I then colored all my little fun costumed kids with the following Spectrum Noir Markers.
Bunny- IG1, AP1, IG2 and a Marvy Snow Marker for the tail which I then heat set.
Chick- OR1, OR3, Chameleon Marker YO2 (Mellon Yellow)
Flower- LG2, LG3, DG1, PL1, LV1, HB3
Faces- FS1, FS2
Hair- TN1, TN2, TN3
Basket- Chameleon BR2 (Hot Cocoa)

In the shaker tag I used Doodles Paper Playground Sparkle Blend in Citrus Twist

The background of my card panel and inside of the tag is colored with Distress Oxides in Broken China, Lucky Clover and Cracked Pistachio

I hope you have enjoyed this projects today. Please see the great products available at the White Rose Crafts online store.

Joy Clair November With The THREE WISE MEN

Greetings Crafty Friends. Time for another great installment of the Joy Clair Monthly Blog Hop.

We have some great new stamp sets this month. I have to say I love them all.

Today I am going to highlight one set from this months release.
Three Wise Men is a great 4x6 set. With 3 sentiments and 6 images, two of which can be colored, this is going to make some great Christmas cards.  This set works great for Bible Journaling pages as you can see from my two projects.
With this card, the background paper is from a Momenta 6x6 card stack. I thought it would make the perfect night background. The city scape I stamped 3 times as well as the camels, I then stamped the wise men once. I used my scan n cut to then cut them out and color. using dimensional adhesive for the 2nd and last layers I put the card together. The Wise Men are on the way to Bethlehem seeking the baby in the manger.

With this journal page, I used distress inks to color the night sky and the desert land. Stamped the city with versafine, and the stamped the sentiment up top. Finished the scene off with the star brad and my page was complete.
