RETARTE 91 - November29, 2016 - Scribbles Designs

Greetings Crafty Friends, today I am sharing a project I did using a digital image from Scribbles Designs ... This is for the great challenge going on over at Retarte.

The image that I decided to use was Let It Snow

Let It Snow

Using my Bic Mark-It's and Spectrum Noir Markers I colored the images. I added a little Black Wink of Stella for Frosty's hat. I used my Lawn Fawn dies to cut the snow drift, added a few sequins from Kat Scrappiness and my project was complete.

I hope you enjoyed my project, and am looking forward to seeing what you have made for the challenge.

Sketch Saturday Challenge #440

Greetings friends and fellow crafters. Today I am here with the Sketch Saturday team with this great sketch for our challenge. Please hop over to the main sketch blog and check out all the designers, and link up your entry. Please stop by the Paper Shelter for some great Digital Stamps, background papers and other fun things to play with. Saturday Sketch Main Blog HERE

The Paper Shelter has the most amazing digital images and also digital papers. And they are offering the winner a $10 gift certificate!!

Unfortunately I was unable to use the Paper Shelter items for this post as my printer was giving issues, so what I have made consists of a background stamp from Joy Clair heat embossed and then a distress ink blend. I then used a Hero Arts stamp from the Art of the Card set dated 2012 in the center.

I hope you have enjoyed this project as well as the rest of the teams.
Thank you so much, and Happy Holidays.

RETARTE 90 - November 15, 2016 - KennyK Stamps

Greetings Crafty Friends, today I am sharing a project I did using a digital image from Kenny K Stamps ... This is for the great challenge going on over at Retarte.

The image I chose is "Christmas Tree".

I can only imagine in a couple years when my grandchildren are a little older that this will be them getting the tree ready with their parents. Right now they are 27 months and 2 weeks... so 2 more years I will update. In the mean time... here is my project.

I used Recollections pattern paper as the background, I colored my image with Spectrum Noir Markers. After cutting the image to fit the card base, and adhering it, my card was complete.

I hope you enjoyed my project, and am looking forward to seeing what you have made for the challenge.

Joy Clair November With The THREE WISE MEN

Greetings Crafty Friends. Time for another great installment of the Joy Clair Monthly Blog Hop.

We have some great new stamp sets this month. I have to say I love them all.

Today I am going to highlight one set from this months release.
Three Wise Men is a great 4x6 set. With 3 sentiments and 6 images, two of which can be colored, this is going to make some great Christmas cards.  This set works great for Bible Journaling pages as you can see from my two projects.
With this card, the background paper is from a Momenta 6x6 card stack. I thought it would make the perfect night background. The city scape I stamped 3 times as well as the camels, I then stamped the wise men once. I used my scan n cut to then cut them out and color. using dimensional adhesive for the 2nd and last layers I put the card together. The Wise Men are on the way to Bethlehem seeking the baby in the manger.

With this journal page, I used distress inks to color the night sky and the desert land. Stamped the city with versafine, and the stamped the sentiment up top. Finished the scene off with the star brad and my page was complete.

RETARTE- CHALLENGE YOURSELF #89 WITH A DAY FOR DAISIES

Greetings Crafty Friends, today I would like to share with you a project I did using a digital image from a day for daisies...This is for the great challenge going on over at Retarte
This is the image, titled Three Nice Gifts:
As soon as I saw this design, my card started coming together in my mind. I made 3 prints of it, and cut with my scan n cut. After finding the background paper I wanted to use I went to work. Used a wonderful Christmas tree die my friend Kat designed, I cut out the tree from two different pattern papers and layered alternating with dimensional tape the tree was set, I then went to work with my digital images and various markers to color them brightly. Using dimensional tape I attached the gifts under the tree, and the sentiment above.

I hope you enjoyed this project. I will be back in two weeks with another project I hope you like.
