You Matter with Joy Clair Designs

Hey there friends and fellow crafters. LeeAnn here with 2 projects using Digital images from Joy Clair Designs.

I had so much fun using this Floral Friendship Digital Stamp set and had some clean and simple fun. The more I am using these sets, the more I am enjoying working with digital, especially when I can use my computer to color them as well.
Floral Friendship

The second project I did was from the God Guides Digital Set...
These cards were quite easy, I have been experimenting with Adobe Photoshop Elements, A program called Paint 3D which is free with Windows computers, and another free program found at GetPaint.net. They all work pretty much the same.
  • I use the PNG file from Joy Clair Designs as it has a transparent background.
  • I then use the program to separate the images, making each their own files.
  • I then bring them back together making the design I want on my card panel.
  • With this one I was able to add colors to the flower petals and leaves to create it to my liking.
  • Once the page was printed, I cut it to 3.75" x 5".
  • I cut a black panel to 4"x 5.25" and adhered these both to an A2 top folding card base.
  • I added 3 pink confetti sprinkles to the panel and my card was complete.
  • For the second card I followed all the same steps except my main panel is 4" x 5.25", with the black panel slightly larger. And I added 3 purple confetti sprinkles.

The digital stamp set I used and many more can be found at The Joy Clair Store

Joy Clair Designs New Release Blog Hop

Greetings friends and fellow crafters, LeeAnn here with the new release Blog Hop for Joy Clair Designs. Today I am featuring the new digital stamp set Pencil Me.

I had so much fun with this set, and here is how I made it.
  1. Using Photoshop I separated the images and sentiments into their own files.
  2. I then opened a new canvas and added the pencil along with sentiments in the arrangement I wanted.
  3. The page was printed using my Epson Color Printer on Hammer-mill 80 lb Premium Color Copy Cover
  4. I trimmed the panel down to a more manageable size, and used my Embossed Edge Slimline Die to cut that panel with my Vagabond 2.
  5. Using Ohuhu Alcohol Markers I colored in the pencils in Rainbow order.
  6. I layered up the panels on black Recollections 65 lb cardstock and then a Rainbow Stripe Paper Studio Cardstock, and all was adhered to a 6.5" x 8" panel scored at 3.25" to make the card base cut from Recollections 110 lb cardstock and all adhered using a tape runner.

July! What is another summer activity you enjoy? Lots of folks love summer camping and kids love going to camp. Teresa spent 3 summers of her career life as a summer camp director at a girl's week long resident camp...it was hard work but yet super satisfying. She loved seeing the girls (most of them were city girls) being exposed to nature, hiking, and the outdoors.

We have a great kit for you this month. All about camping and the outdoors! So grab your computer, a beverage, maybe go out on your back porch (so you are outdoors) and hop along and view the most wonderful inspiration from our Design Team and guest designers!

I SMELL JELLY BEANS- A STAMP DOCTOR PROJECT

Spring is in the air, bunnies are all around and Jelly Beans are on the scene. I'm not sure about you, but speckled Jelly Beans or plain black are my favorites.

Today I made a project using paper from the Easter Paper Pack 1, the Stitched and Nested Oval Dies sets, the Bunnies and Jelly Beans Combo,  and the Grass Edger Die.
I had so much fun making this card, and I hope you like it. It really didn't take too long once I had the idea of what I was going to do. I used LaLaLand Hybrid Ink to stamp my jellybeans. The Bunny is stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black as I knew I would be using my alcohol markers to color it grey.

Your Own Kind of Beautiful with GinaK and Scrapping For Less

Greetings friends and fellow crafters, Spring has arrived and I am excited to share two Spring Time cards I made today using GinaK Designs "Your Own Kind of Beautiful" stamp set I really love this stamp set and could not just stop with one card.

With this first card I stamped out the cacti and cut with my Brother Scan N Cut. I then used a banner die to cut a shelf. I used Distress Oxide in Cracked Pistaccio and a blender brush to make a background.Using Artist Loft Markers I colored up the images and after using stitched rectangle dies and ScraPerfect glue to put my layers together, I used foam tape to pop up the shelf and this card was complete.

I decided I needed a little more fun with this set, and this bicycle reminded me of one I had in high school. Using paper from a 6x6 paper pad for my background and a Spellbinders window die,  to make this scene work. I colored the image with Artist Loft markers and adhered my layers using ScraPerfect glue. The bicycle is adhered using foam tape for pop.

Season;s Greetings from Scrapping For Less

Greetings friends and fellow crafters, LeeAnn here with a project I made using Lawn Fawn's Simply Celebrate Winter Stamp Set.
This stamp set is so adorable with its gifts, gingerbread cookies, trees, snow people, ornaments, winter village and the Season's Greetings" sentiment. With all the cute items it was quite hard to decide what I was going to use for this project, but after thinking I came up with a fun idea.

I used a pre-made card base from my stash, and a panel that fits the top of it, I used Distress Oxides in Broken China on the sky and a combination of Lucky Clover and Twisted Citron for the ground. My stamping is all done with my Tim Holtz Stamp Platform using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
My coloring is all completed using Chameleon Markers in various colors.
I used Nuvo drops in Woodland Green and Autumn Red on the Gingerbread kids buttons. I used my Black Glaze pen on the eyes. I used Nuvo Crystal Drops on the rooftops and tree tops to simulate snow.
This project was fun and I am so happy to share it with you today.

Inspire Dream Create with Pink & Main

Greetings friends and fellow crafters, LeeAnn here with my Design Team project using the Pink & Main “Inspire” stamp set. This set is great and since I do love butterflies I knew was I was going to do right away. First I positioned the stamps on my Tim Holtz Stamp Platform and used the Bouquet Kaleidacolor ink pad to ink up the spray of butterflies, and Onyx Black Versa-fine Ink to make my stamp impressions. Once the Butterflies were stamped at the colors I wanted, I cleaned my stamp and stamped everything again using Versa-mark clear watermarking ink. I followed this up with Clear embossing powder and used my heat tool to set it. I  used Pale Periwinkle and Key Lime Nuvo Jewel Drops, although unfortunately one splotched on me (Desiree I need a Nuvo class)!!! I used paper from the March Flavor of the Month kit to layer my card panel on my base.
Hope you liked my project today.
