I've Heard... Picket Fence and and Scrapping For Less

Greetings friends and fellow crafters. LeeAnn here with a project I had a lot of fun creating.
This Picket Fence "Sympathetic Unicorn" stamp set came in perfect timing. I had a coworker who has been down a bit lately, not like herself. While at work the day after this stamp set arrived I started thinking about what I could do, and I came up with this card. The next day it was on her desk when she arrived and now it hangs on her corkboard.

To make this cute card, I first stamped the Unicorn and Cloud out with Gina K Designs Black Amalgam Ink. I knew I would be using Alcohol Markers and this is a safe ink to use. I alternated colors with my markers to color the mane in a rainbow scheme.

The sentiment is stamped inside the card using the same Amalgam ink.
The background pattern paper sheet is from Bo Bunny "Believe" collection.
I stamped the sentiment on a sheet of vellum using the Amalgam ink and heat embossed using Nuvo Jet Black embossing powder. Using strategically placed liquid Multi-Medium Matte under the sentiment, cloud and unicorn
I was able to adhere the Vellum without it being seen. I finished the card off with some "Love Potion" Nuvo Dream Drops.

I SMELL JELLY BEANS- A STAMP DOCTOR PROJECT

Spring is in the air, bunnies are all around and Jelly Beans are on the scene. I'm not sure about you, but speckled Jelly Beans or plain black are my favorites.

Today I made a project using paper from the Easter Paper Pack 1, the Stitched and Nested Oval Dies sets, the Bunnies and Jelly Beans Combo,  and the Grass Edger Die.
I had so much fun making this card, and I hope you like it. It really didn't take too long once I had the idea of what I was going to do. I used LaLaLand Hybrid Ink to stamp my jellybeans. The Bunny is stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black as I knew I would be using my alcohol markers to color it grey.

Your Own Kind of Beautiful with GinaK and Scrapping For Less

Greetings friends and fellow crafters, Spring has arrived and I am excited to share two Spring Time cards I made today using GinaK Designs "Your Own Kind of Beautiful" stamp set I really love this stamp set and could not just stop with one card.

With this first card I stamped out the cacti and cut with my Brother Scan N Cut. I then used a banner die to cut a shelf. I used Distress Oxide in Cracked Pistaccio and a blender brush to make a background.Using Artist Loft Markers I colored up the images and after using stitched rectangle dies and ScraPerfect glue to put my layers together, I used foam tape to pop up the shelf and this card was complete.

I decided I needed a little more fun with this set, and this bicycle reminded me of one I had in high school. Using paper from a 6x6 paper pad for my background and a Spellbinders window die,  to make this scene work. I colored the image with Artist Loft markers and adhered my layers using ScraPerfect glue. The bicycle is adhered using foam tape for pop.

Scrapping For Less Project with Lawn Fawn

Greetings friends and fellow crafters, LeeAnn here with my first project as a member of the Scrapping For Less design team. Let me say this is going to be a fun ride.

So, today I am highlighting the "Hay There" stamp set from Lawn Fawn, available in the Scrapping For Less Store. I also used the "Down on the Farm" 6x6 paper pad and mini icons from Doodlebug. I am always amazed how well Lawn Fawn and Doodlebug work together.

So, now that you know what I used, how about showing you what I made.

After stamping and coloring the cute animals I decided this had to be a box card, so that everything would fit and have the ability to be seen.

I used the following Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers for coloring:
Cow Spots, and all animal hooves- True Black
Cow face- FS5
Cow horns IG5
Goat- IG3, IG6
Sheep- IG2, IG6
Pig- PP3, PP6
Horse- GB1, GB5, EB3, EB4, TN4
Fence- EB5, TN3

Once my coloring was complete I cut the images and set to making my box card.

The box card base is 11.5" wide and 5.5" tall. each section is 2.75" wide. The base is scored up at 2.75" to create 3 flaps that will fold down. The 4th side was left tall to create the back side when standing.
I cut three 2.5" x 2.5" and used my Corner Chomper to round the edges. I used double stick tape to adhere the panels.
The back panel is 2.5" x 3.5" so that it will cover the panel down past where my farm critters are.
The panels my critters are on 3.5" wide and 3" tall. I added a .5" panel of the same wildflower field pattern paper to each panel to simulate the critters standing out in the pasture.
On the left panel is a mud pit, Apple Tree and apple from the Mini Icon Set, and the Pig from the stamp set that I colored.
The front panel is a windmill, flowers and truck from the Mini Icon Set
On the right side is a bail of hay, apple tree and apple from the Mini Icon Set and Cow from the stamp set
The photo image on the back panel is from an icon sheet in the 6"x6" paper pad

I hope you have enjoyed my project today. Please stop by the Scrapping For Less website and see the items I have highlighted as well as the other awesome items available.

Happy Easter with Lawn Fawn and White Rose Crafts

Greetings friends and fellow crafters. LeeAnn here with my Saturday post with White Rose Crafts.
Let me tell you how much I love Lawn Fawn and their little fun characters and stamps. I am so happy to be able to play with them this week and bring my project to you.

No automatic alt text available.
In making this project which is an A2 size 4.25" x 5.5", I started out by stamping the images from the Lawn Fawn Easter Party stamp set with Memento Tuxedo Black and cut with the Scan n Cut. I them moved over to my Big Shot and a tag die set from my stash to cut the makings of the tag on the right side of my card. I knew I wanted a shaker as part of my project and figured that would be the easiest way to do it.
I then colored all my little fun costumed kids with the following Spectrum Noir Markers.
Bunny- IG1, AP1, IG2 and a Marvy Snow Marker for the tail which I then heat set.
Chick- OR1, OR3, Chameleon Marker YO2 (Mellon Yellow)
Flower- LG2, LG3, DG1, PL1, LV1, HB3
Faces- FS1, FS2
Hair- TN1, TN2, TN3
Basket- Chameleon BR2 (Hot Cocoa)

In the shaker tag I used Doodles Paper Playground Sparkle Blend in Citrus Twist

The background of my card panel and inside of the tag is colored with Distress Oxides in Broken China, Lucky Clover and Cracked Pistachio

I hope you have enjoyed this projects today. Please see the great products available at the White Rose Crafts online store.
