White Rose Crafts and Happy Birthday Decoupage

Greetings friends and fellow crafters, LeeAnn here with my post this week for White Rose Crafts. I have never attempted decoupage in the past and thought it would be fun to try. We are entering the birthday season in the family (including my own in less than 2 weeks) so lets see how fun and easy it was.

Using a page of Anita's Decoupage I punched out the images for this adorable scene. There were several pieces of this set that was so easy to put together. Using foam dimensionals I layered each piece to make this scene.

Then for the background I used Distress Oxides in Shaded Lilac and Tattered Rose on Bristol paper. I layered this on an A2 card base of black cardstock. Used foam tape to add the decoupage piece and my project was complete.

Would you like to try Decoupage yourself? I tell ya, this is the easiest way to make card I have found, and there will be more in the future. I have been given a code for you to use until Midnight EST 4/7/18. The code is EASY CARDS, 20% off all products in this category (Die Cuts Decoupage).

I hope you have enjoyed this project today. Please see the great products available at the White Rose Crafts online store.

Scrapping For Less Project with Lawn Fawn

Greetings friends and fellow crafters, LeeAnn here with my first project as a member of the Scrapping For Less design team. Let me say this is going to be a fun ride.

So, today I am highlighting the "Hay There" stamp set from Lawn Fawn, available in the Scrapping For Less Store. I also used the "Down on the Farm" 6x6 paper pad and mini icons from Doodlebug. I am always amazed how well Lawn Fawn and Doodlebug work together.

So, now that you know what I used, how about showing you what I made.

After stamping and coloring the cute animals I decided this had to be a box card, so that everything would fit and have the ability to be seen.

I used the following Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers for coloring:
Cow Spots, and all animal hooves- True Black
Cow face- FS5
Cow horns IG5
Goat- IG3, IG6
Sheep- IG2, IG6
Pig- PP3, PP6
Horse- GB1, GB5, EB3, EB4, TN4
Fence- EB5, TN3

Once my coloring was complete I cut the images and set to making my box card.

The box card base is 11.5" wide and 5.5" tall. each section is 2.75" wide. The base is scored up at 2.75" to create 3 flaps that will fold down. The 4th side was left tall to create the back side when standing.
I cut three 2.5" x 2.5" and used my Corner Chomper to round the edges. I used double stick tape to adhere the panels.
The back panel is 2.5" x 3.5" so that it will cover the panel down past where my farm critters are.
The panels my critters are on 3.5" wide and 3" tall. I added a .5" panel of the same wildflower field pattern paper to each panel to simulate the critters standing out in the pasture.
On the left panel is a mud pit, Apple Tree and apple from the Mini Icon Set, and the Pig from the stamp set that I colored.
The front panel is a windmill, flowers and truck from the Mini Icon Set
On the right side is a bail of hay, apple tree and apple from the Mini Icon Set and Cow from the stamp set
The photo image on the back panel is from an icon sheet in the 6"x6" paper pad

I hope you have enjoyed my project today. Please stop by the Scrapping For Less website and see the items I have highlighted as well as the other awesome items available.

Happy Easter with Lawn Fawn and White Rose Crafts

Greetings friends and fellow crafters. LeeAnn here with my Saturday post with White Rose Crafts.
Let me tell you how much I love Lawn Fawn and their little fun characters and stamps. I am so happy to be able to play with them this week and bring my project to you.

No automatic alt text available.
In making this project which is an A2 size 4.25" x 5.5", I started out by stamping the images from the Lawn Fawn Easter Party stamp set with Memento Tuxedo Black and cut with the Scan n Cut. I them moved over to my Big Shot and a tag die set from my stash to cut the makings of the tag on the right side of my card. I knew I wanted a shaker as part of my project and figured that would be the easiest way to do it.
I then colored all my little fun costumed kids with the following Spectrum Noir Markers.
Bunny- IG1, AP1, IG2 and a Marvy Snow Marker for the tail which I then heat set.
Chick- OR1, OR3, Chameleon Marker YO2 (Mellon Yellow)
Flower- LG2, LG3, DG1, PL1, LV1, HB3
Faces- FS1, FS2
Hair- TN1, TN2, TN3
Basket- Chameleon BR2 (Hot Cocoa)

In the shaker tag I used Doodles Paper Playground Sparkle Blend in Citrus Twist

The background of my card panel and inside of the tag is colored with Distress Oxides in Broken China, Lucky Clover and Cracked Pistachio

I stamped the image on Bristol cardstock and colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. The green and yellow layers are Recollections cardstock. I used Darice embossing folder called Horseshoes to emboss the horseshoes on the green layer. My card base is 4.25" x 5.5". The green layer is 4" x 5.25". I used a gold Delicata ink pad to rub over the layer to add the gold for a finishing touch. The Darice embossing folder was purchased at White Rose Crafts...

What's Cracking with Evaney's Stamp Designs

Greetings friends and fellow crafters, LeeAnn here with my Friday post for Evaney's Stamp Designs. Today I used another new March stamp release entitled "Easter Friends".

First I used an embossing folder from WRMK to create the background and used Vintage Photo distress oxide ink to color it. I then used some pattern paper from my stash and stitched triangle dies to cut the triangle dies out.
I used a stitch circle die to cut out the circle for the center. I used Cracked Pistachio, Lucky Clover and Broken China Oxides to do the grass and sky.
After stamping the chick and bunny in the egg stamps with Ranger Archival Black I cut the images with my Scan n Cut. Using watercolor pencils and a blender I colored the images.
The sentiment was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and the edges of the banner inked with Wilted Violet.

I hope you have enjoyed this project today. Please be sure to check out the other fun products at the Evaney's Stamp Designs website.

Hi there friends and fellow crafters. LeeAnn here today with another project from the Limited Edition Project Kit from White Rose Crafts. This kit is in pre-order status right now and will begin shipping in April. There is a limited quantity available, so please do not delay.

For today's project I used cardstock from the kit for the front panels of my GateFold card, and one of the journaling prompts for the sentiment. I used a brad to mount one of the charms that came in the kit to use as a closure for the front.
Making this card I used a 5.5" x 8.5" piece of hot pink card stock from my stash. I scored this at 2.25" from each end to make the gatefold. I then cut 2 panels 2" x 5.25" from white cardstock, and then 2 panels of 1.75" x 5" from the cardstock in the kit.
For the sentiment panel I cut a piece of the Autumn Hay at 3.5" x 2.5" and mounted the sentiment panel on top. All panels were mounted using double side tape available in the shop.

VIntage Spring with White Rose Crafts

Greetings friends and fellow crafters. LeeAnn here with an unboxing video of something special. White Rose Crafts is going to release their first quarterly Project Kit. This kit is truly Internationally put together, and I hope you get excited about it, just like we have.

[youtube=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PGvkWjWjuSc&w=320&h=266]

After doing my unboxing video I had to step out of my comfort zone a little bit. So here are 2 of the projects I have made with the kit.

For this first card I used a background paper from the "Being A Grandmother" page, the sentiment from the  "Patchwork of Life" sentiment and photo sheet affixed to a section of the Spearmint Petallics shimmer cardstock.
I added a few rhinestone flowers to match and my card was complete once added to an Ivory card base.

For this project my paper is from the "When I was little" page. I used a section of the "Autumn Hay" Petallics to use as a backer and added this panel with foam tape to the same page I had cut the topper from. I did use a stretch of lace behind the panel and wrapped although it is barely noticeable in the photo. 3 flowers entwined together brought the pink from the bottom of the page to the top, and my project was complete once added to an Ivory card base.

I hope you have enjoyed these projects today. Please see the great products available at the White Rose Crafts online store.
This kit will be available April 1.

Greetings Earthlings and fellow crafters. LeeAnn here with my Friday post for Evaney's Stamp Designs.

I had a bit of fun with this one. Using Memento Dew Drops in RoseBud, Tangelo, Dandelion, Bamboo Shoots, Danube Blue and Grape Jelly, I stamped the "Planet Stamp". I then used coordinating Memento Markers to color the rings of the planets in LadyBug, Potters Clay, Cantelope, New Sprout, Bahama Blue and Lilac Posies.
I stamped the Sentiment and Cow Creature using Versafine Onyx Black, and colored cow creature using London Fog. A few rhinestones placed and my project for today was complete.
