You ARRRGH Awesome with DCD

Greetings friends and fellow crafters. LeeAnn here with a fun gift box I have made using all Lawn Fawn Products except the paper. This project was made for the Die Cuttin' Diva's Weekly Challenge where I am a Design Team Member.

picsart_07-23-12.25.36

First I used the Scalloped Treat Box Die and cut two panels, folded on the scored lines and used scor-tape to hold it together.

picsart_07-23-12.44.24

I then stamped out the images from Ahoy Matey using Lawn Fawn Jet Black Ink and then colored with my Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend Markers, I also used my original Spectrum Noir markers for colors that were not in the Tri-Blend

The Banner with sentiment is cut from the Fancy Wavy Banner die set. I used ScraPerfect Best Glue Ever to adhere all my images.

I hope yo have enjoyed this project. Please come play along with the 3-D Challenge this week at Die Cuttin' Diva's.

Wish Upon A Star with Lawn Fawn and SFL

Greetings friends and fellow crafters, It's LeeAnn with another post with Scrapping For Less. This time I have used the Lawn Fawn stamp set "Upon A Star" along with the Interactive Reveal Wheel Square Add On die set, Gold Embossing Powder, Versamark Ink and the PhotoPlay 6"x6" paper pad Campfire & Lakeside.

preview-3

I really had so much fun with this project. I have had the reveal wheel since it first came out, and have not used it, just waiting for the right time, and this was exactly the project I was waiting for.

picsart_07-05-08.14.09

First using white cardstock I cut the card base, the wheel  heart frame and the little arrow. I cut the night sky panel using the square reveal wheel die, and heat embossed using Gold embossing powder the Wish and the Heart of Stars.

picsart_07-05-08.12.58

I stamped and cut the two little critters and colored them with alcohol markers, and using some scraps from the paper pad decided to make the grassy panel and then a blanket for the critters to sit upon.picsart_07-05-08.11.50

After figuring out how I wanted the sentiment in the window I stamped the open stars, then Upon, closed stars then A Star and heat embossed them. It does appear I need to use a little more of that embossing buddy to get a cleaner embossing.picsart_07-05-08.10.35

I hope you have enjoyed this project as much as I have enjoyed bringing it to you.

Have a great day and see ya back next week with my FOTM Sneak Peek project, and I had a lot of fun with it as well. Let me tell you, each month the kits are getting better and better and I am really excited about this one.

Let's Get Embossing with Die Cuttin Diva's

Greetings friends and fellow crafters. LeeAnn here with my weekly project for Die Cuttin' Diva's. This week's Challenge is Embossing whether Dry or Heat, we don't mind either one or both.

picsart_07-07-04.21.13

For my project I used a camper die from Little Yellow Bicycle. I attached my cardstock to double sided tape and cut it out, I used various glitters in Black, Silver, Diamond Dust, Red and Gold to make that camper shine. I used a Lawn Fawn die to cut the grass and a Camping themed Embossing folder that I then cut the word camping off and used that as my sentiment. The paper is from a 6"x6" paper pack from Photoplay called Campfire and Lakeside.

Hope you enjoyed my card, and I can't wait to see what you come up with. Come play along at Die Cuttin' Diva's.

Weekend Under The Stars with SFL and PhotoPlay

Greetings friends and fellow crafters. It's LeeAnn and I am so excited for this month with Scrapping For Less.

For this first card it gives every reason I love going camping. I really miss the days we would join the family out at the camp in the Florida Everglades and have fun all weekend without a care about what was back at home. Campfires that we kept running all day and night, swamp buggy and four wheeler rides out to the middle of the field to check out the stars. preview

My husband said this is his favorite card of the three. Canoeing is so much fun and I personally can't wait until the water is high enough to be able to go to down the river on a 4 hour float.
picsart_07-04-12.17.45

This card was fun, easy and yet took a bit of time. I used background paper from the same PhotoPlay paper pack, however I also used the Echo Park Night Sky Stencil, and NUVO Embellishment Mousse in Gunmetal. Using a palette knife I spread the Mousse over the stencil, I then removed the stencil and let the panel dry while going to wash up the stencil and palette knife. My night sky panel is mounted on silver mirror paper on a white card base. The sentiment panel is also mounted on silver mirror paper and white panel beneath that.

Happy Birthday USA

Greetings Friends and Fellow Crafters. It's LeeAnn and I am here with a project I had in mind and made for the 4th of July. Which of course was 4 days ago.

picsart_06-24-12.49.15For this project I used Rinea foil paper, the Tim Holtz 4th of July Die set and my favorite glue from ScraPerfect. This glue is so awesome that all these little layers were able to go together with just a dab here and there, and the find tip for the bottle worked awesome for the tiny pieces.

First I ran the foil paper through my Vagabond with the colors Red, Silver and Blue stacked on top of each other. Since the paper is thin I knew it would not be an issue to cut at one time.

Using the ScraPerfect Best Glue Ever I was able to adhere the tiny pieces with no issue, and have a few seconds to be sure they were in the proper place.

I hope everyone had a safe and happy holiday. See you soon for another post.
