Candy Hearts... a Joy Clair project

Hi there friends and fellow crafters. LeeAnn here with a project I have created using stamps by Joy Clair Designs.

When making this card I used the Candy Hearts Set.

First, I stamped the hearts with with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, which is alcohol marker friendly.
Secondly, I used Inkadinkado masking paper to get the vision of the hearts overlapping.
I colored the hearts using Artist Loft alcohol markers, and then stamped the sentiments using VersaClair Nocturne ink, this is a black pigment ink that is great for sentiments, and stays wet long enough for embossing should you choose to do so.

The stamp set I used and many more can be found at The Joy Clair Store

Happy Valentine's Day from DRU and LeeAnn

Hi there friends and fellow crafters. LeeAnn here with my final post with Dies R Us.
I had so much fun making this card, as Lawn Fawn is one of my favorite companies and I used a lot of their product on this.
I used the Butterfly Pop Up die set to cut out the main frame from silver mirror cardstock, and the wings from pink pastel cardstock.
I used the Hillside dies from the Shadowbox set, and then I used images from the Oh Gnome stamp set, along with the Happy Valentines Day from the Happy Happy Happy add on stamp set. The background blue paper is Lawn Fawn Watercolor cardstock.
I stamped my images with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored using Spectrum Noir Markers. The sentiment is stamped using VersaFine Onyx Black ink.

Hello My Crafty Friend.. a DCD Post

Kat Scrappiness is our terrific sponsor for January 2020.
Kat Scrappiness

The challenge is NEW THINGS
(new stamps, dies, stencils, embossing powders or folders, papers, digi images)

We all made it through the holidays, so now it's time to craft away and what better prize than a Kat Scrappiness Prize pack which includes your choice of one stamp set, one die and three packs of embellishments (sequins, gems or sprinkles)?

For my post today, I have created 2 cards using the Hello My Crafty Friend die. I love this die and have used it to send many cards out.

I made a blended background using various Distress Oxide inks, used the die to cut out the sentiment, and added the background to a white card base.
I then used a mint green card base, a panel of rainbow colored paper, a panel of white, and then the blended sentiment which was cut from the original blended background. Two cards in one cut and very easy to make.

Lets Make a Christmas Ornament with Hero Arts and Dies R Us.

Greetings friends and fellow crafters, LeeAnn here with an ornament I made using Hero Arts Layering Snow Globe die set.
First I cut all the main segments out using Recollections 110 lb card stock, and one backer using Pink & Main's Galaxy paper. I used Silver Glitter paper for the snowflake spray and Gold Shimmer paper for the sentiment plate.
I actually cut each layer twice, and alternated the layers. Using Artist Loft brush markers I colored the top hat, arms, and facial features of the snowman, the house and the tree's. I used ScraPerfect Best Glue Ever to adhere the layers together. I stamped the sentiment using VersaFine Clair Nocturne Black Ink. The sentiment is from Poppy Stamps "Christmas Greetings Stamp Set".

We Fish You a Merry Christmas with DRU

Greetings friends and fellow crafters. LeeAnn here with my first December Inspiration project, in which I decided to make 2 cards for.

I used Lawn Fawn's Christmas Fishes stamp set, along with Lawn Fawn's Porthole Frames and Wavy Banner Frames sets. My background paper is from DCWV. I used silver mirror cardstock to cut the porthole frames, I also cut the same using white cardstock, and both for the wavy banners.
I stamped my images and sentiments using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and did some masking using Inkadinkado masking paper so I could have images appearing to be behind what I wanted positioned in front.
I colored my images using Spectrum Noir alcohol markers.
Then the fun began. I attached Spectrum Noir double side adhesive to the back of each of my portholes. I trimmed around the outer edge so it would not show, and then sprinkled Diamond Dust Glitter on the front of each porthole and burnished it in. This effect made the front no longer sticky, however it is very shiny and semi transparent.
I used ScraPerfect Best Glue Ever to adhere all panels together, and added silver ribbon from my stash with a bow at the top of each porthole, to simulate Christmas Ornaments.
My vision for these cards is sitting on the inside of a boat, looking out through the portholes at Christmas time at the cute fishes and sea critters celebrating in their own way. I hope this inspiration did the same for you.

DCD and Morgan's Art World

Greetings friends and fellow crafters. LeeAnn here today with my post for Die Cut Diva's. This month we have two sponsors, Morgan's Art World and Cheapo Dies. For this post I use an image from Morgan's Art World called Winter 10.

preview-4

I printed the image, colored with Artist Loft Alcohol Markers and cut the image and layers using MFT Mod Stax Dies. I love this image, she really reminds me of my youngest daughter, from her reddish blonde hair color, to her purple jacket. Only thing different is the eye color. I have 3 daughters, and I always purchased things in colors for them. Oldest was yellow, middle was pink and youngest purple. Not sure why it worked out that way but it did.

Thanks for this trip down memory lane, hope you enjoy my image. Have a great day.
