Sentiment Fun and 12 Cards from Joy Clair Designs

Greetings friends and fellow crafters, LeeAnn here with 12 cards I made using two sentiment stamp sets  (Hello Sentiments and Everyday Sentiments) from Joy Clair designs and a few sheets of pattern paper and card stock.
I follow a You-tuber Call Me {Crafty} Al, and she has a program called Sheetload of cards, so by following her design, I came up with these 12 cards quite quickly. You can find her video here. Per the instructions and request of the maker I will to post the directs to make the cards here.
I used pattern paper from the Crate Paper 12x12 paper pad called Hello, Love. I also used solid colored 65 lb card-stock from Michael's Recollections brand, and my card bases are Michael's Recollections brand 110 lb.
I used a Sizzix Scribbled Heart die with both Rose Gold and Silver card-stock under the sentiment panels. My sentiments are all stamped using VersaFine Clair in the Color Nocturne.
My layers were all put together using Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive. I used Sizzix Stick-It on the Mirror card-stock before die cutting, and I used Scrapbook Adhesives foam squares to attach the sentiment panels.
So enjoy the cards I made and if you decide to join in with the Sheetload of cards, post your photos on the Joy Clair Facebook group, we would sure love to see them.

It's A Girl Thing Blog Hop for Turner Syndrome

Hi there friends and fellow crafters. LeeAnn here with a post for the "It's a Girl Thing" blog hop for Turner Syndrome.
I had never heard about Turner Syndrome until I met my friend Lori. Turner Syndrome affects about 80,000 females in the United States. It is often not diagnosed until about age 9, however there are some cases still being diagnosed in adulthood. You can read more about Turner Syndrome here on Lori's blog.

For my project today, I have used the Infinity 2 set from Joy Clair Designs.

This set is great in that it has 2 Infinity whips and several words that can fit within the space. I chose to use Hope for this card, as we all Hope for a cure for Turner Syndrome.
To make my card, I used alcohol inks in Blue, Red and Purple along with Alcohol Blending Solution. I stamped the Infinity whip using Memento Luxe ink in the color Wedding Dress. I then stamped the Hope using Delicata ink in the color Gold Shimmer. After completing my stamping, I set this panel aside to dry.
When dry, I used foam tape to pop my panel up on a white A2 side folding card base.

Thank you so much for stopping by,

Snowflake Kisses... a DCD post

Greetings friends and fellow crafters. LeeAnn here with a Thank You to KatScrappiness for being our sponsor this month.
This will be my final post with the DCD team, however I will be around blog land.
For my project background I used Tattered Angels sprays in various shades of Blue with a Silver overspray and let dry for the weekend.
Using Lawn Fawn glitter paper I cut the snowman as well as the snowflakes using the dies from the Snowflake Kisses and Stitched/Layered Snowman sets.
I then used Black Cardstock for the eyes, hat and buttons, the nose is from orange cardstock and the necktie as well as arms came from paper scraps from Doodle Bugs Down on the Farm paper pad.
My layers were put together using Art Glitter Glue and attached to my card panel using foam tape.

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by. Please follow my blog and the Die Cut Diva's blog for more fun coming up.

Hugs and Smiles from Joy Clair Designs

Hi there friends and fellow crafters, LeeAnn here and for my project today I used the stamp set Hugs and Smiles.
In order to make this card, first stamp the images using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
I then spritzed the panel with water. Next, sprinkle on Ken Oliver's Color Burst powders in Chartreuse and Alizarin Crimson. The best part was watching the color powders do thing, and put the panel aside to dry.
Once the panel was dry, stamp the sentiment using VersaClair Ink in Nocturne.
The next step was to add 3 drops using Pico Embellishment drops in Gold and let dry. Once the panel is completely dry you can add foam tape to the backside of the panel to give dimension when adding it to the card base.

I hope this has inspired to you make some Valentine's cards of your own.

Special Delivery with Makers Movement

Greetings friends and fellow crafters. It's LeeAnn with a project I made using The Little Feet Stamp and Die sets from Makers Movement.

To make this project, first I stamped out these adorable images using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I used Artist Loft alcohol markers in yellows and pinks to color these images.
The sentiment was stamped using Pink Shimmer Delicata ink.
I used the matching dies to cut out the images using my die cutting machine.
To make the simulated dresser drawers I used Kraft Cardstock and a Hero Arts woodgrain stencil. I blended over the stencil using Vintage Photo Distress Oxide ink.
I cut the panels to .75" x 4" and added 2 brads to simulate the drawer handles.
The plaid panel is from a Paper Studio "It's A Girl" paper pad.
I arranged all pieces on a Kraft 4.25" x 5.5" top loading card base.
The "drawers" are popped up with foam tape and the stamped images are adhered using Tear-It tape.
These stamp and die sets, along with many others are available on the Maker's Movement website

Candy Hearts... a Joy Clair project

Hi there friends and fellow crafters. LeeAnn here with a project I have created using stamps by Joy Clair Designs.

When making this card I used the Candy Hearts Set.

First, I stamped the hearts with with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, which is alcohol marker friendly.
Secondly, I used Inkadinkado masking paper to get the vision of the hearts overlapping.
I colored the hearts using Artist Loft alcohol markers, and then stamped the sentiments using VersaClair Nocturne ink, this is a black pigment ink that is great for sentiments, and stays wet long enough for embossing should you choose to do so.

The stamp set I used and many more can be found at The Joy Clair Store
