Moooo, its a Joy Clair Cow Party!!!

Greetings friends and fellow crafters. LeeAnn here with a fun post using a combination of one of our new sets released last week, and some of our older sets that are still available.

For both of these cards I  used the digital version of the "Go There" set. However it is available now as digital as well as clear photo-polymer.

For this first set I used Kaleidacolor inks "Spectrum" pad to make the background using a brayer, and just kept layering to get the desired outcome I was happy with. I printed Missy Moo with my Brother Laser printer and did some gold foiling using my Swingline laminator. My current printer is old so not all of it foiled, but I do like the way she turned out.

Using Delicata Gold and VersaMark Dazzle inks I stamped stars all over the background from "Out of This World" clear stamp set, I used Memento VersaMagic in White to stamp the "Moon" and sentiment. 

I have to tell you, this card was one of my first ideas when I saw this "Go There" stamp set. Remember the nursery rhyme "Hey Diddle Diddle" well Missy moo is waving by as she is "jumping over the moon".

This next card I had a lot of fun as well. 

For this card, I not only used "Go There" digital set, but I also combined 3 other stamp sets. "Uh Oh! Ink Splatters for the background. "Mothers Day" for the brown cow on the left, and "Party Animals" for the cow on the right. The first part of the sentiment is from "Go There", the second part is from "Party Animals". I stamped my images and background using VersaFine Clair in Nocturne, and the brown cow using VersaFine Clair in Pinecone. I finished off my card using Nuvo Drops in Red for some spots here and there to break up the black ink spots.

I've Got You Covered Fun Hop

Greetings friends and fellow crafters, Some of us crafty friends (list is at bottom of post) are having some fun with this adorable digital image from Whimsy Stamps. It is a free digital at this time and linked below.

When I first saw Dudley, I immediately thought of Figment. My favorite purple dragon from EPCOT. I used Artist Loft Alcohol markers to color him up, and my background panel is from the Bo Bunny paper collection "Believe"

My older daughter worked at The Disney Store for a few years, and bought me this Figment for my birthday in 2010. I went on a cruise with a friend the next day and Figment went with us, so much fun. He has traveled with us a lot camping, NASCAR races, just for fun.

Joy Clair Blog Hop Day 2

Hi there friends and fellow crafters, welcome back to Day 2 of the Joy Clair New Release Blog Hop. Today's release is a set called Succulent Frame. This set is so pretty, and has a few fun sentiments that go great with it. 

I went a little different than my usual with this card. I used Memento dye markers in LuLu Lavender, Angel Pink, Bamboo Leaves and New Sprout to color the image, and then spritzed the card using Fireworks Shimmer Spray in LuLu Lavender and Angel Pink to match. The frame panel is popped up using foam tape while the layers are adhered together using score tape.

Joy Clair New Release Blog Hop Day 1

Hi there friends and fellow crafters... LeeAnn here with my Day 1 post for the New Release Blog Hop with Joy Clair Designs. The first set I am sharing with you today is entitled Go There!!!

This cute cow makes me so happy, and she is ready to have a Splediforous day. 

I used pattern paper from the Doodlebug "Down On The Farm" paper pack to pack up my image. I used MFT Stitched dies from Blueprints 33 to cut my panel for Missy Moo and the Gingham panel. I used a stitched rectangle die to cut the sentiment.

My second card is from the new set entitled My Heart.

 I love making shaker cards, so this seemed to be the perfect set to do so with. I used my brother scan n cut to cut out the heart image from my card panel. I then took my base and the Fade Away Stencil along with some Distress Oxide inks in Picked Raspberry, Dried Marigold and Squeezed Lemonade to make my card front. 

I colored the heart using alcohol markers. I cut 2 panels of acetate to fit over the heart cut out to create the shaker element. I used score tape to adhere the first panel to my card front, then I surrounded the heart using double side foam tape. I added the seed beads to the inside, removed the backing on the foam tape and added another layer of acetate. This was then added to my card base with the colored heart showing through the shaker element. This I have found is the easiest way to make a shaker and have everything line up without loosing the shaker bits.
