π Jolly Layers with Sketch 62 – A BYSHC Holiday Card
It’s beginning to look a lot like crafting season! Today’s card was inspired by the latest BYSHC (Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers) sketch challenge, and I had a blast working with Sketch 62 from Crystal. This layout offered the perfect playground for mixing patterns, stamping, and coloring.
π️ Supplies I Used:
- Recollections Paper Pad: I pulled a few festive prints from this pad to create layered panels full of texture and charm. These papers are always a go-to for holiday crafting!
- Sketch 62 from Crystal: I followed the sketch closely but added a playful twist to suit my layout. Sketches like this are such a great way to jumpstart creativity.
- Stamped Images from Taylored Expressions: These adorable holiday stamps brought so much personality to the card. I colored them with Olo Markers, which gave me rich, vibrant tones and smooth blending.
✨ Design Details
I flipped the sketch orientation and the proportions to highlight my stamped images. The Recollections papers added a cozy backdrop, while the Olo-colored characters became the stars of the show. A few enamel dots and a touch of glitter finished things off with sparkle and dimension.
π Final Thoughts
This card came together with a joyful spirit and a jolly palette—perfect for sending warm wishes this season. If you’re participating in the BYSHC challenge or just looking for inspiration, Sketch 62 is a fantastic place to start!
