Wedding Bells and SpringTime Flowers

Greetings friends, LeeAnn here today with a project that is very near and dear to me. I used the Spring Time Flowers and Doodle Flowers sets on this fun project. 

Now a little backstory. I have three wonderful daughters, 2 awesome sons in law, and 2 amazing grandchildren. My two oldest daughters are married and the baby is getting married in August. Due to the fact that my older two lived many miles away when they married, I really did not get to participate as much as I would have liked. Leave the last, who only lives an hour away... I get to do all the fun stuff now. So far we have been to a bridal show with her future mother in law, went dress shopping along with my middle daughter, my grandbaby and one of my daughter's friends (and she said YES to her DRESS). Well, the best part of all was the privilege of making her invitations and rsvp cards. Which brings me back to my post. 

As my daughter and I were figuring out what she wanted her for the invitation, I was sending her photos of our new stamp sets. she said she wanted Daisies, so I said hang on, I quickly stamped the daisy and sent it over FB messenger. I said I have another idea... I stamped it, cut with the Scan n cut, stamped again and heat embossed it and added some yellow in the middle... eh, but not sold yet. I told her to give me a few minutes... I stamped, close cut so no framing, stamped again, heat embossed, added some Fabrika Cornflower drops in the middle, also stamped the Jar from the Doodle Flowers set on light blue cardstock, and then added cut vellum over the top to look like glass. SHE LOVED IT!!! Then the fun part of her wording started. 

   

What you see here is the final cut of my daughter's wedding invitation, of course, information has been blurred out.

Quick Quotes, Calm The Storm

Greetings friends and fellow crafters. I'm here today with a card that I made using paper and inks from Quick Quotes and a stamp set from Joy Clair.

I stamped the ship image with Mocha Mama and set aside to dry. I then went to work with the base panels. The main panel cut from Chiffon is 4.5 x 5.75. I then made a smaller layer of 4.25 x 5.5 from Adventure Awaits. A panel of white that had been run through an embossing folder and cut to 3.75 x 5 was attached next. A layer from Adventure Awaits was cut with a 4.5 diameter circle die, followed by another piece fo the Chiffon cut at 1.25 x 3.75 with banner tails, I then cut Adventure Awaits again at 1 x 3.5 to make a smaller banner tail.
I used a rope stitched oval die to cut the panel for the ship.
Now that the ship is dry, I used Royal Blue for the water, and Sky Blue for the sky, both on the image panel and the embossed sheet underneath so that it all flows together.

Fathers Day revisited Joy Clair

This card was created using two stamp sets Hello Sentiments and Raise Your Glass. And the process was as follows:

• Using a foiled card base, I used the 'sending, Father's Day' from the Hello Sentiments set, and the 'cups and Cheers!' is from the Raise Your Glass set. I stamped these images using Memento Tuxedo Black. 
• I colored the inside using a dab of Encore Metallic Gold pigment ink. 
• Once the ink was cured I used irRESISTible Pico Embellisher to give it a glassy look. 
• I set this aside and let dry, and with that this project was complete.

Joy Clair Fathers Day Inspiration

Greetings crafty friends. LeeAnn here today with a little Father's Day Inspiration using the Father's Day set from Joy Clair.

The process used is as follows:

• The card base is 4.25" x 5.5", the black later is 4" x 5.25" and the top layer is 3.75" x 5".
• Using Warm Sand color Powderpuff Chalking ink I created the sand trap. I then covered it with post-it tape. 
• I then used Jade and Seafoam Powderpuff Chalking inks to create the green.
• Once this was dry (doesn't take these inks long) I used Versafine Onyx Black to stamp the imaged sentiment in the upper right corner. 
• Once I was sure the sentiment was dry, I used double sided tear tape to adhere all the panels together and my project was complete.

Sunsational Stamps Swim Time Fun

Greetings crafty friends. LeeAnn here today with my latest inspiration project. This one is using the Swim/Beach/Ocean theme.
For this project I used 2 of our great stamps:

The first thing I did was use tumbled glass distress ink to formulate the summer sky look. After printing the images, I cut away the raft from Caleb and the ball from Cari. using some rectangular stitched dies and lawn fawn grass and hillside stamps I cut the landscaping and pool. I placed Caleb and Cari in the pool and the raft and ball outside in an arrangement that made me happy. 

All images colored with Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers:

Addicted to Stamps Challenge #243- Holiday

Greetings friends and fellow crafters. Today I am here with Addicted To Stamps and More Challenge #243 Holiday Theme. I chose a Christmas card for my project and looked through my stamps to see which set I wanted to use. I chose a Mama Elephant set called Over the Rainbow. This set came with four dies and eight stamps, and let me say they stamp and cut quite easily.

Using Archival Black I stamped out my images and then My sentiment (Lawn Fawn Winter Unicorn Set) was stamped using Versafine Onyx Black Once my images were dry I used Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to color the Unicorn and Rainbow. The Castle was colored with Wink of Stella Silver and Black. The clouds and background were completed using Fireworks! Summer Sky. My background is made using Tim Holtz Watercolor paper.

Air Smiles

So, going through my Hero Arts stamps I decided that this set from 2013 would be great since summer is almost here, and I am ready.

Special Delivery

So, after going through my stash and finding the sets I wanted to use, I made my plan.  Using watercolor paper and my distress inks I went to work. The beachy area is completed using Wild Honey and Dried Marigold. The water area is Mermaid Lagoon, and the sky is a combination of Broken China and Tumbled Glass. 

Once it was dry I used a cross stitched globe die to cut out the section for my shaker. 

I stamped the Palm  Tree, Crab, Bird, Plane, and banner with Gina K Black Onyx Permanent Dye Ink and used my Scan n Cut to cut out the images. 

Using my Zig CCRB Markers I colored the images.

The Crab is in the shaker section with all the little shimmery shells. I used double stick tape and tear tape to adhere all my elements together.
